Celebrating in Namibia

    I have some changes to my trip that I am excited to share with everyone. For starters, I have made a nice leap in my fundraising. It is always an encouragement to me when I get to update my thermometer. In addition to that my departure date was moved up last week. Instead of leaving July 9th, I will now be leaving June 21, and returning on July 25. The reasoning behind moving the trip date up, is that we have an exceptionally small team this year. In order to make our time there more productive we decided to team up with a group from South Africa that will be in Namibia at the same time. I am really excited about this change, since it means that I will be 100% in Namibia for my 21st birthday. (How many people can say that they celebrated their birthday in Africa) However this also means that I am less than 2 months away from my trip, which is making me essentially stalk my fundraising page :) Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, it truly means a lot to me. A final little note. It was mention to me that one of my donors never received the thank you note that i sent them. If anyone else has not received a note PLEASE let me know. Even if only for me let me confirm that I did receive the donation.
